Short answer: A yacht wedding in Dubai costs from about AED 60,000 for an intimate celebration of up to 20 guests, from AED 95,000 for a superyacht cocktail wedding of 50 guests, and from AED 130,000 for a seated dinner of 40 to 80 guests, excluding 5% VAT. The yacht is the largest line, followed by food, service and music; the floral arch and decor are quoted on request.

Yacht wedding prices at a glance

Most yacht weddings in Dubai fall into three formats. Prices below are for the whole celebration, excluding 5% VAT, with the yacht, the menu, the bar service, the cake, music and a photographer. The floral arch and decor are designed with you and quoted on request.

Every package is detailed on our yacht wedding Dubai page, with the ten yachts we recommend for weddings.

Where the budget goes

The yacht is usually the largest line. Wedding yachts start from about AED 6,500 per hour for a 143 ft tri-deck superyacht and reach AED 20,000 per hour for a 197 ft superyacht, with a 4-hour minimum for a wedding. Captain, crew and fuel are included.

Food comes next: canapés from about AED 300 per guest, food stations or a buffet from AED 250, and a seated dinner from AED 500 per guest. A cocktail format costs less than a seated dinner and keeps guests moving between the decks.

Service and bar: waiters and bartenders are booked for the charter plus set-up time, from AED 155 per hour each. Drinks are quoted with your menu, and you are welcome to bring your own Champagne and wine.

Music: a saxophonist or a DJ from about AED 2,500, a DJ with a violinist from AED 7,500. Photo and film, the cake, the floral arch, aisle and table decor are quoted on request, as they depend entirely on your style.

What changes the price

The guest count decides the yacht, and the yacht sets most of the budget. The format matters next: a cocktail wedding costs less than a seated dinner. Duration adds by the hour, and the date counts: weekends from October to April book first. Decor is the most flexible line, from fresh flowers on the tables to a full floral arch and aisle.

How to keep the budget under control

Choose a cocktail rather than a seated dinner, a weekday rather than a Saturday, and 4 hours timed around the sunset: the golden hour makes the ceremony and the photos, and the skyline lights up for the party. A yacht that fits your guest list exactly costs less than a larger one.

Most couples complete the legal formalities on land, then hold the ceremony moment, the vows and the celebration at sea. For a proposal before the wedding, see how to plan a yacht proposal in Dubai.
