Questions, answered.
How many people can be on board for a shoot?
Up to 150 people, including talent, guests and production crew, depending on the yacht you choose.
Is there power and space for equipment?
Yes. Space and power for cameras, lighting and equipment are arranged in advance, with room for wardrobe.
Can you provide a photographer or videographer?
Yes. We can coordinate a photographer, videographer and content crew, or host your own team alongside ours.
What is the best time of day to shoot?
Golden hour gives the most flattering light on the skyline, so we usually recommend setting sail from 3 PM. Full-day access is available for longer shot lists.
Where can we shoot?
From Dubai Harbour, with Ain Dubai, JBR, the Burj Al Arab and Atlantis as backdrops, or at Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi.
What does Odyssia take care of?
Everything. We source the yacht from across the market and arrange the catering, live artists and DJs, staffing and bartenders, styling and transport. You have one point of contact from the first brief to the last guest.
Can you find a specific yacht?
Yes. We have access to the entire market, so we can propose the yacht that fits your guest count, your date and your budget, and arrange a visit before you decide.
How is an experience priced?
Private yacht charters in Dubai start from AED 1,300 per hour, with a 3 to 4-hour minimum. The captain, crew, soft drinks, water, ice, towels and a speaker are included on every yacht. Catering starts from AED 350 per guest for a cocktail with canapés and an open bar from AED 450 per guest, with service staff (waiters, bartenders) quoted separately. Prices exclude 5% VAT. Share the occasion and your guest count and Odyssia sends a tailored proposal.
What happens if the weather is unfavourable?
Safety is the top priority of the captain and crew. In case of severe weather, we offer to reschedule your charter at no extra cost, subject to availability.
