What does Odyssia take care of?
Everything. We source the yacht from across the market and arrange the catering, live artists and DJs, staffing and bartenders, styling and transport. You have one point of contact from the first brief to the last guest.
Do I have to book catering and staffing through you?
Not at all. You're welcome to come to us just for the yacht itself, with no obligation to use our catering, staffing or other services. We're just as happy arranging the boat alone as we are managing the full experience.
Can you find a specific yacht?
Yes. We have access to the entire market, so we can propose the yacht that fits your guest count, your date and your budget, and arrange a visit before you decide.
How is an experience priced?
Private yacht charters in Dubai start from AED 1,300 per hour, with a 3 to 4-hour minimum. The captain, crew, soft drinks, water, ice, towels and a speaker are included on every yacht. Catering starts from AED 350 per guest for a cocktail with canapés and an open bar from AED 450 per guest, with service staff (waiters, bartenders) quoted separately. Prices exclude 5% VAT. Share the occasion and your guest count and Odyssia sends a tailored proposal.
Can you plan celebrations like birthdays or New Year’s Eve?
Yes. Yacht Parties, Birthday Celebrations and New Year’s Eve are among our most requested personal experiences, each built entirely around you and your guests.
Do you arrange wellness sessions, like yoga or Pilates on board?
Yes. Wellness at Sea is a private session built around your group: yoga, Pilates, sound healing or breathwork, led by an instructor we source for you, with time in the water and a wellness-focused menu built in.
Can you plan a baby shower, gender reveal, proposal or anniversary?
Yes. Baby Shower & Gender Reveal and our Couple Moments experience are both private experiences we design end to end, from a styled reveal moment to a sunset table built for two.
What’s a typical excursion route?
Most charters start by passing Dubai’s most iconic landmarks, including Ain Dubai, JBR, the Burj Al Arab and Atlantis The Palm. During longer trips (six hours or more) the journey can include the stunning World Islands. We recommend setting sail from 3 PM onwards to enjoy the golden hour skylines and sunset views.
Are water toys available?
Yes, on request. Jet skis, paddleboards and other water toys can be added to most charters, ideal for Yacht Parties and Birthday Celebrations.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages on board. We also offer luxury catering services if you prefer a fully managed experience.
Are children allowed on the yachts?
Yes, children are welcome! We prioritize safety, so we advise informing us in advance so we can provide the necessary equipment, such as child life jackets.
What happens if the weather is unfavourable?
Safety is the top priority of the captain and crew. In case of severe weather, we offer to reschedule your charter at no extra cost, subject to availability.
How do I start?

Is the charter fully private and confidential?
Yes. The yacht is reserved exclusively for your group, with no other guests on board. Your guest list and event details stay between you and the Odyssia team, and the crew is briefed to keep the occasion discreet.
Can you arrange discreet boarding for VIP guests?
Yes. We can arrange a private boarding time, a host to meet your guests on arrival and, where possible, a quieter berth away from the busiest part of the marina, so high-profile guests can arrive and leave without attention.
How much does it cost to rent a yacht in Dubai?
With Odyssia, private yachts in Dubai start from AED 1,300 per hour for smaller yachts and go up to around AED 22,000 per hour for superyachts, with a 3 to 4-hour minimum and 5% VAT on top. The price depends on the yacht, the date and the duration; New Year’s Eve and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix are priced separately.
What is included in a yacht charter?
Every Odyssia yacht comes with the captain and crew, soft drinks, water, ice, towels and a speaker. Catering, an open bar, decoration, a DJ, water toys and service staff can be added on request.
What is the minimum charter duration?
Three to four hours, depending on the yacht and the date. Most charters run four hours; half-day, full-day and evening charters are also available.
Where do the yachts depart from?
Most Odyssia yachts depart from Dubai Harbour, next to Emaar Beachfront and JBR, a short cruise from Ain Dubai, the Burj Al Arab and Atlantis The Palm. Other Dubai marinas, and Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi, can be arranged depending on the yacht.
How far in advance should I book?
For the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and New Year’s Eve, book now: these are the most requested dates of the year, the best yachts and trackside berths are reserved weeks or months ahead, and once they are gone they cannot be replaced. Weekends also fill up quickly. For other dates, a few days’ notice is often enough, subject to availability.
Can you cater a yacht booked with another company?
Yes. Odyssia’s catering, open bar and service staff can be booked on their own for any yacht, villa or venue in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, from AED 350 per guest for a cocktail with canapés.
