The best places to watch the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2026

Yas Marina Circuit gives you more ways to watch a Grand Prix than almost any other track: five grandstands, a general admission hill, suites above the pits, a hotel built over the circuit and a marina full of superyachts inside the track. Here is what each spot is like for the 2026 race weekend, Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December, and who it suits best.
The quick answer
- For the start, the pit lane and the podium: the Main Grandstand
- For overtakes: the North Grandstand at the hairpin
- For the most affordable day out: Abu Dhabi Hill, general admission
- For comfort, food, drinks and a party until 2 am: a superyacht in Yas Marina

Grandstands: a seat at one part of the track
A grandstand gives you a numbered seat facing one section of the circuit, with big screens for the rest of the lap. The Main Grandstand is the classic choice for the start and the podium. The North Grandstand sits at the hairpin, one of the best overtaking spots on the lap. The Marina Grandstand is the one in the photos: it looks across the track to the yachts moored in Yas Marina. Bring sun protection for the afternoon sessions and a layer for the evening, as the race finishes under the lights. See our guide to Abu Dhabi F1 tickets for how buying works.
Abu Dhabi Hill: general admission
The most affordable way in. You watch from the grass bank with big screens and fan zones around you, and come and go as you like. It is relaxed and sociable, with less comfort and no reserved seat.
Suites, the Paddock Club and the hotel over the track
Suites and the Paddock Club put you above the team garages, close to the pit lane, with premium dining. The hotel built over the circuit on Yas Island is one of the most famous views in Formula 1, and rooms there sell out early for race weekend. We compare the two premium options in Paddock Club vs superyacht.
A superyacht in Yas Marina
Yas Marina sits inside the circuit, and the track wraps around it. From the deck of a yacht moored on the marina front you watch the cars go by metres away, with live coverage on screens on board for the rest of the lap. Our hospitality superyacht, 65 metres long, is at Berth 40, one of the most dramatic corners of the track. You have the yacht from 1 pm to 2 am: lunch while the first session runs, the evening session or the race at sunset, dinner, DJ sets, then after-race concert access. For a team or a celebration, a private superyacht hosts 20 to 200 guests for the whole weekend.
| Package | Sessions | Per person | With 5% VAT |

| Friday 4 December | Practice 1 and 2 | AED 7,500 | AED 7,875 |
| Saturday 5 December | Practice 3 and qualifying | AED 15,000 | AED 15,750 |
| Sunday 6 December | The Grand Prix | AED 25,000 | AED 26,250 |
| Saturday + Sunday | Qualifying and race day | AED 30,000 | AED 31,500 |
A yacht package is hospitality, not a race ticket: it does not include a grandstand seat. See how watching from a yacht works and the 2026 schedule and concerts.

Questions
What is the best place to watch the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix?
It depends on what you want. The Main Grandstand is best for the start, the pit lane and the podium, the North Grandstand for overtakes at the hairpin, and a superyacht in Yas Marina for comfort, food, drinks and a party atmosphere from 1 pm to 2 am.
Can you see the F1 cars from a yacht in Yas Marina?
Yes. The track wraps around Yas Marina and the yachts are moored on the marina front facing the circuit. Odyssia’s hospitality superyacht is at Berth 40, with the cars metres away and live coverage on screens on board.
Which grandstand has a view of the superyachts?
The Marina Grandstand looks across the track to the superyachts moored in Yas Marina. A yacht hospitality package puts you on the other side of that view, on the deck.
What is the cheapest way to watch the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix?
General admission on Abu Dhabi Hill, from about AED 1,695 as an indication. For yacht hospitality, the most affordable day is Friday at AED 7,500 per person plus 5% VAT.
Does a yacht package include a race ticket?
No. A yacht package is on-board hospitality at Yas Marina: the yacht, marina access, dining, drinks, entertainment and after-race concert access. It does not include a grandstand seat.
